After a carefully choreographed mating dance and an unhealthy binge of Dylan’s Verbose Years, Secretly Canadian and Philadelphia’s The War on Drugs have entered into a union from which many soon-to-be-considered classic albums will spring forth. First up is the "Barrel of Batteries" EP, which is being given away as a free download for a limited time. Containing 5 demos that we found ourselves returning to over and over again, "Barrel of Batteries" showcases the band’s epic pop songs as well as a few short ambient pieces.
